A man pleaded guilty to a crash that injured three people, including himself.
The incident happened on I-70, July 20.
42-year-old Casey Edward Lonesk pleaded guilty to four felonies: two counts of vehicular assault/DUI and two counts of leaving the scene of an accident.
He was speeding at around 100 mph at the time of the incident, crashing into a vehicle containing two people. Both were sent to Vail Health Hospital to get treatment. They sustained several rib fractures, lacerations, contusions and abrasions. They were released in a few days, but their healing continued months after.
Lonesk was also taken there and was found out to have a BAC of .237, nearly thrice the legal limit of .08.
